How can we make the most of the "leftovers" we have at home? An Alentejo-style pizza is the answer!
? INGREDIENTS
- 200g of bread dough (bought from the bakery, but you can use home-made dough)
- 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 100g grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 Alentejo black pork belly
- 1 large egg
- Olive oil to taste
- 2 teaspoons of coriander preparation
- Basil to taste
? PREPARATION
- Roll out the dough and place it on a plate or pizza tray.
- Cover the pasta with the tomato sauce and then with half the grated cheese.
- Meanwhile, cut the millet into slices and distribute them over the pizza. Place the open egg in the centre and cover with the remaining cheese.
- Place the pizza in a preheated oven at 180ºC and cook until the cheese is golden and the egg and dough are cooked.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped coriander, a drizzle of olive oil and basil.
