Franciscan Ginjinha - Serra de São Mamede Special Edition

Despensa Franciscana has produced a special, numbered and limited edition of 200 bottles, called the Serra de São Mamede Special Edition.
The sour cherries used are of the "Galega" variety, also known as "Bravinha", and come from Lúcia Reia's farmland, whose sour cherry trees grew in the middle of the Serra de São Mamede, at an altitude of around 700 metres.
The liqueur, produced in 2023, aged in stainless steel for a year and a half.
This special edition has a ruby colour, an intense fruity aroma with notes of exotic fruits and spices, providing a balanced and persistent taste, very characteristic of the sour cherries that gave rise to it.
