Description

Terroir and Viticulture
The Altas Quintas vineyards are located in a very special terroir. They are located at an altitude of 600 metres, on a plateau that develops in a unique way, right in the middle of the vineyards.
Serra de São Mamede. The altitude, the mesoclimate conditions of this area and the soils of medium productive potential make this place so special.
The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection programme.
The Touriga Nacional grapes for this wine were hand-picked from the coolest areas of the vineyard into 20kg boxes. They were quickly transported to the winery. The bunches and berries were sorted at the entrance to the winery.

Vinification
The grapes selected exclusively for the production of this rosé wine were pressed directly at low pressure. Fermentation took place at a temperature of 16ºC in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing for 4 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes / Harmonisation
Pink in colour with salmon nuances, it has aromas of small red fruits (wild berries) and some floral notes.
On the palate it has lively, balanced acidity, is very elegant and has a medium-length finish.
It is a gastronomic wine that can accompany dishes of some complexity or simply be taken as an aperitif.
A serving temperature of 10ºC is recommended.
