\"A Mercearia\" was born out of an enormous desire to create a unique place where you could taste the best regional products and traditional flavours of the Alto Alentejo, including our \"Ginjinha Franciscana\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A traditional, family-run 100% concept, \"A Mercearia\" is a place where you can enjoy the noblest grape varieties and taste the best delicacies, while also taking in temporary exhibitions by local artisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opened in June 2016 in a place with a traditional architectural style, recognisable by its 19th\/20th century furniture and the stonework on its windows, it is a very special place that combines gastronomy and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
