TERROIR UND WEINBAU<\/strong>
\nDie Weinberge von Altas Quintas befinden sich in einem ganz besonderen Terroir. Sie befinden sich auf einer H\u00f6he von 600 Metern auf einem Plateau, das sich auf einzigartige Weise inmitten der Serra de S\u00e3o Mamede entwickelt. Die H\u00f6henlage, die mesoklimatischen Bedingungen in diesem Gebiet und die B\u00f6den mit mittlerem Produktionspotenzial machen diese Lage so besonders. Der Weinberg wird im Rahmen eines integrierten Schutzprogramms bewirtschaftet. Die Alicante Bouschet-, Touriga Nacional- und Trincadeira-Trauben f\u00fcr diesen Wein wurden Ende September von Hand aus den besten Parzellen in 14-kg-Kisten gepfl\u00fcckt. Der Transport zum Weingut erfolgte z\u00fcgig. Die Trauben und Beeren wurden am Eingang der Weinkellerei sortiert.<\/p>\n

VINIFIZIERUNG<\/strong>
\nDie G\u00e4rung fand bei einer kontrollierten Temperatur in Lagares statt. Anschlie\u00dfend wurde er 12 Monate lang in franz\u00f6sischen Eichenf\u00e4ssern gelagert und in Flaschen abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n

VERKOSTUNGSNOTIZEN \/ HARMONISIERUNG<\/strong>
\nIntensive rubinrote Farbe, mit Aromen von kleinen roten Fr\u00fcchten, balsamischen Noten und einem Hauch von R\u00f6staromen. Am Gaumen ist er ausgewogen und dicht, mit sehr eleganten, allgegenw\u00e4rtigen Tanninen, lebendiger und frischer S\u00e4ure und einem intensiven und komplexen Abgang mit viel Volumen und Frische. Er kann Ofengerichte und Wildgerichte mit einer gewissen Komplexit\u00e4t begleiten.<\/p>\n
